De dunne grens tussen afhankelijkheid en inzicht: je voelt je aangetrokken tot iemand die om leugens heen draait, maar elke keer als de waarheid voor je ogen flitst, komen de tranen. In het lied klinkt het als een eeuwige slinger - van opluchting naar pijn, van erkenning naar ontkenning. Eerlijkheid doet meer pijn dan leugens, maar zonder eerlijkheid kan het toch niet. Het resultaat is een bittere danscarrousel, waar in plaats van muziek je eigen hart speelt en je in tranen uitbarst.
